Q1: How would you introduce yourself in 3 words?

I believe in honesty, openness and a quiet passion for learning. I consistently strive to approach my work with a sense of responsibility, while placing great importance on the attitude of learning and addressing my shortcomings.

Q2: at what age, did you decide to become a vet?

During my high school career exploration, I first learned about the profession of a veterinarian. Since I have always loved animals, especially dogs, I naturally developed an interest in veterinary medicine and decided to pursue it as my field of study.

Q3: What do you like the most for being a vet?

Although there are many challenging moments, the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is seeing a sick patient recover and return to health, and receiving gratitude from the pet owners. This sense of fulfillment is the greatest advantage of this profession.

Q4: One sentence that describes your value as a vet.

In the ever-evolving field of veterinary medicine, I strive every day to become a better veterinarian through continuous learning and growth.

Q5: Can you share one memorable moment in your career as a vet?

Although I don’t have much experience and feel a bit embarrassed, the experience of caring for my first patient with diabetic ketoacidosis stands out the most. After a long hospitalization, the patient was stabilized and transitioned to outpatient treatment. I still remember the words of gratitude I received from the owner at that time.

Q6: What is your expertise (pursuing focus)?

With a desire to specialize in internal medicine, I pursued graduate studies and am currently working at Jeju National University Animal Hospital, where I continue to learn. My goal is to provide better treatment to patients through more in-depth care.

Q7: What do you like the most about CardioBird?

I believe the greatest advantage is the ability to quickly screen for abnormalities in patients suspected of having arrhythmias or requiring differential diagnosis. For suspicious cases, we can easily check for abnormal ECG using AI reports before interpreting them directly or conducting additional tests like Holter monitoring, which greatly aids in patient care. Additionally, even if no clear arrhythmia is detected during auscultation, we routinely utilize this as part of the pre-anesthetic evaluation.

Q8: You must have a dream. What do you want to achieve through your profession? or as a human?

While I am still in the process of learning and growing, my long-term goal is to become an internal medicine specialist who takes pride in my practice. I aspire to be a veterinarian who earns the trust of patients, pet owners and fellow veterinarians alike.
